You can learn all about the rich history of the Creston Valley: the arts, the agriculture, the role our people played in World War I and World War II, our indigenous roots, and more at The Creston Museum. The historic grain elevators, built in the 1930s, now house Kunze Art Gallery and represent two of the last three grain elevators left in BC.
Creston is a great place to visit all year long. In the winter months enjoy nearby alpine and downhill skiing, heli-skiing tours, dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and more. Spring in Creston is a great time to explore the many trails and outdoor rec areas and watch as the world reawakens. Summer is jam-packed with water fun, sightseeing, outdoor markets, and wine tours. Nelson BC, or Ainsworth Hot Springs. The lake road leading to Crawford Bay is beautiful in summertime (the glass house is on this road). Crawford Bay has really cool artsy shops and the lighthouse hike at the end of Pilot Bay Road is quite popular.
